Children's core strength:
Gross motor coordination is based on the development of core strength, the pelvic girdle and the shoulder girdle and the ability to coordinate between them.
Humans are hardwired to develop these systems at an early age and although they can be developed later in life, early childhood is the most appropriate and easiest time.
Fine motor coordination, hand-eye coordination are enormously enhanced by gross motor coordination so training results in improved ball skills and handwriting.
Developing these systems encourages children to be "more in their bodies" or "present" and if children are "away with the fairies", developing their core is a powerful way of encouraging focus and awareness.
